The other amplifier finally gave up the ghost in this Allen organ so we substituted in a public address amplifier. It has been using a PA amp on one of the channels for the past 7 yrs. Eventually though I do want to repair the original Allen amps. To me, it sounds even better with the PA amp than the Allen amp ever did. Organist 1982 plays “Great is thy faithfulness” and “Brother James’ Air” Also we found a GE Fashionette 6000 air conditioner in an old part of the church.
